Tuesday Update

Just got off the phone with Shannon. She has a chest tube for drainage of the thoracic cavity right now. Apparently, something about this chest tube causes referred pain in her shoulder and it is the worst pain she has ever felt. Her exact words were, "I've never been in so much pain in my life." She will go for x-rays today around 1:00 pm so they can know more about what is going on inside. For now she remains in ICU.
